Packaging Tape

Packaging or box sealing tape is primarily designed to provide quick, inexpensive closure to a carton. Like masking, duct and filament tape, it can be used in many different applications and comes in different performance grades and price points. Packaging Tape Dispensers

Our rugged dispensers are suitable for general-purpose use. They seal cartons easily and secure tape with a smooth, one-handed motion. A serrated multi-tooth bladed cuts the tape quickly and easily while an adjustable brake keeps tension on the tape to prevent slipping and wrinkling.

Printed Tape

Our industrial grade polypropylene stock printed tape contributes to the care and safety of your fragile/expensive merchandise. Use it to communicate special handling or special instructions at a glance. It resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals and scuffing and is highly visible - it identifies the contents of a package instantly.

Custom Printed Tape

Have you considered closing your boxes with custom printed tape? Printed tape spotlights your company logo and product from the time the carton leaves your plant until it reaches your customer. Your message can be printed in up to 3 colours on high-quality PVC or polypropylene packaging. Both hand rolls and machine length rolls are printable. Hot Melt Adhesives

Hot melt adhesives are made of 100% thermoplastic resins that are heated and, when cooled, reach bond strength within seconds. They are very versatile, quick to apply and easy to use. Hot melts are ideal for corrugated case sealing.

Hot Melt Guns

A value priced high volume, high productivity industrial tool, the 3M AE II is our most popular regular duty applicator. It delivers up to 4lbs/hr of hot melt adhesive and its rugged high impact construction withstands daily use. A positive check valve nozzle minimizes dripping and a contoured grip and wide trigger provides for precise control and operator comfort. It warms up to 400 degrees F operating temperature in 3 minutes and a built-in stand and anti-tipping guard keep the applicator upright and stable.

Taping Machines

GF offers a full line of 3M case sealers that can improve productivity and reduce operating costs at the end of a packaging line. Case sealers are designed to help increase plant safety, reduce labour costs and decrease downtime (versus hand taping or stapling.)

Pictured to the right is the 3M 200a, a perfect combination of productivity and performance that can seal up to 40 cases a minute with weights up to 85 lbs. It features side guides that centre cases of various widths and is a sturdy, space-saving unit that can apply 2 and 3 inch tape.
