Counter Sales Associate with Construction Knowledge - Edmonton
We have an immediate opportunity for a Counter Sales Associate in our Edmonton location. No evenings or weekends are required for this position.
GF is an industrial distribution company we are searching for the right person who has the ability to provide outstanding customer service with construction experience, must be comfortable with construction tools and fasteners. The successful candidate will prove to have outstanding communication skills and the ability to pay particular attention to detail. You would be responsible for providing the customers with product knowledge, suggesting the appropriate products, initiating and completing customer orders, and providing back-up sales support for our customers over the telephone.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years experience with customer service and or sales
- Strong verbal, written and telephone skills
- Strong work ethic
- General knowledge of construction tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to analyze and solve problems
- Have the ability to work well with customers and co-workers
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Industrial experience will be an asset
Compensation will be based on experience.
